About Us

Priory Park Pavilion

In 1962 Priory Park was acquired by Dudley Borough CouncilEdward Prentice Mawson was commissioned to develop the site, creating a housing estate – Priory Estate – and a public park. The park, retaining the ornamental ground south of the hall, included walks, flower beds, sports pitches, shelters, lawns and hedges; it was opened in 1932.

In 2017 the existing Pavilion was extended and refurbished to include a multi-use room which is used as a community centre, classroom for local schools, changing room, refreshment area and training room.  A courtyard was added to the rear of the building, as well as an access route direct from the Priory Hall car park.

We intend to keep Priory Park Pavilion as a community hub for everyone to use and enjoy.
